Test Scope

Hello G5-I Parents,

Our class will have their first round of Exams starting next week for this semester.

Please note the scheduled test dates: 

The Listening/Reading Test will be on

 Wednesday, September 25^th.

The Oral Presentation Test will be on

Wednesday, September 25^th.

The English Written Test will be on Wednesday, October 2^nd.

       The tests will cover the following:

FOR ALL EXAMS:

Review Communication book, Reader-Writer Book, homework writing books, quizzes and Unit tests for weeks 1-5.

Reader-Writer 4.1 Stories and Articles –Winn-Dixie and Lewis and Clark

Be able to match vocabulary to its easy definition

Be familiar with the sample sentences

LISTENING / READING TEST:

Use and trust your instincts. Stay focused and listen carefully to the whole conversation before selecting your answer. Some of the questions will try and trick you.

ORAL PRESENTATION TEST:

The Student will be asked to read a paragraph taken from the Online Study Assignments.  Please have your child complete the on-line reading assignments

GRAMMAR TEST:

Grammar Chapters 34-36

WRITTEN TEST: 

Review Communication book, Reader-Writer Book, homework writing books, quizzes and Unit tests for weeks 1-5.

Be able to match core vocabulary to its easy definition

Understand the difference between Compound and Complex Sentences

Reader-Writer 4.1 Stories and Articles – Winne Dixie and Lewis and Clark

Know and be able to recognize the main characters of the stories.

You should have a good understanding of each stories plot.

 I have asked the students to bring home their books so they can prepare for the exam.
