Class 5-I - 2nd Semester - Week 18 - Test Scope / Review Week

Hello Parents,

Our class will have their third round of Exams starting next week for this semester.

Please note the scheduled test dates: 

The Listening/Reading Test will be on Wednesday, June, 24^th.

The Oral Presentation Test will be on Monday, June, 29^th.

The English Written Test will be on Tuesday, June, 30^th.

       The tests will cover the following:

FOR ALL EXAMS:

Review Communication book, Reader-Writer Book, homework writing books, quizzes and Unit tests for weeks 12-16.

Reader-Writer 4.2 Stories and Articles – Moonwalk p 294, and Far Side of the Moon p 450

Be able to match vocabulary to its easy definition

RWN Far Side of the Moon p429-429

LISTENING / READING TEST:

Use and trust your instincts. Stay focused and listen carefully to the whole conversation before selecting your answer. Some of the questions will try and trick you.

ORAL PRESENTATION TEST:

5i students will be asked to read one of these articles

Page 293 – Gone to the Moon

Page 449 – Travelers in Space

They should be familiar with the articles in vocabulary and pronunciation

WRITTEN TEST: 

Part 1: Vocabulary and Grammar

 Vocabulary p 362 and 431 in Reader’s and Writer’s Notebook

 Grammar p 363, 370, 380, 432, 439,449 in Reader’s and Writer’s Notebook

 Prepositions and prepositional phrases, titles.

Reading Comprehension skill – Drawing Conclusions p 360 in Reader’s and Writer’s Notebook – Short answer
