G5-A1 Tuesday May 18th Vocabulary 1-15 Lesson 1

 Hello everyone

I hope everyone is comfortable and safe at home as we all try to overcome this surge of COVID-19 infections. 

For the next 2 weeks, classes will be remote using WEBex and, for English the classes will be prerecorded.

I will do my best to have the videos posted for the classes up on my blog. 

Each video will be between 10 to 20 minutes long and I will ask students to complete work in their writing books A and B as well as the Reader's & Writer's Notebook. 

There is a general lesson plan already up on the blog for week 13. 

For the students who were in class Monday we did a Unit Test on the last story - LOST CITY. 

 I introduced and read the new story to class A1 - Antarctic Journal.  I would encourage students to read and re-read the story again. Use the Pearson Realize online platform to help you. 

I will post links on this blog to the classes as well as summarizing the work students will need to do.

I am currently working on the best format to record and share these classes but hope to have the first two periods up for tomorrow at 10.15am. If I am a little late on the first day, please be patient- they will be up soon. 

I will mark the writing books A and B and the Reader's & Writer's Notebooks once we all return to school.
