Class 5-I - 2nd Semester - Week 5 Review Week and Test Scope

Hello Parents,

Our class will have their first round of Exams starting next week for this semester.

Please note the scheduled test dates: 

The Listening/Reading Test will be on Wednesday, March, 25^th.

The Oral Presentation Test will be on Friday, March, 27^th.

The English Written Test will be on Monday, March, 30^th.

       The tests will cover the following:

FOR ALL EXAMS:

Review Communication book, Reader-Writer Book, homework writing books, quizzes and Unit tests for weeks 1-4.

Reader-Writer 4.2 Stories and Articles – Case of the Gasping Garbage , and Seeker of Knowledge

Be able to match vocabulary to its easy definition

RWN Gasping Garbage – pages 247-257

RWN Seeker of Knowledge – pages 280-290  

LISTENING / READING TEST:

Use and trust your instincts. Stay focused and listen carefully to the whole conversation before selecting your answer. Some of the questions will try and trick you.

ORAL PRESENTATION TEST:

5i students will be asked to read one of two articles

Page 23 – Detective Techniques

Page 117 – The Rosetta Stone

They should be familiar with both articles in vocabulary and pronunciation

WRITTEN TEST: 

Review Communication book, Reader-Writer Book, homework writing books, quizzes and Unit tests for weeks 1-4.

Reader-Writer 4.2 Stories and Articles – Case of the Gasping Garbage, and Seeker of Knowledge

Be able to match vocabulary to its easy definition

Review subject and object pronouns

Review singular and plural pronouns

Review reflexive pronouns  

Review possessive pronouns

Review the skill of Compare and Contrast

The students must know the content of the stories. Please re-read both of the main stories.

Pages 26-42 and 118-130
