Week 6 and 7 Test Scope

 

Review & Test Weeks – Weeks 6 & 7

Hello Parents,

 

Our class will have their first round of Exams starting next week for this semester.

 

Please note the scheduled test dates: 

The Listening/Reading Test will be on Wednesday, October 7th.

The Oral Presentation Test will be on Tuesday, October 6th, Wednesday October 7th, and Thursday October 8th. Student order will be randomly selected.

The Grammar Test will be on Monday October 12th.

The English Written Test will be on Wednesday, October 14th.

 

       The tests will cover the following:

 

FOR ALL EXAMS:

Review Communication book, Reader-Writer Book, homework writing books, quizzes and Unit tests for weeks 1-5.

Reader-Writer 4.1 Stories and Articles – Because of Winn Dixie, Lewis and Clark and Me, On the Banks of Plum Creek

Be able to match vocabulary to its easy definition

 

LISTENING / READING TEST:

Use and trust your instincts. Stay focused and listen carefully to the whole conversation before selecting your answer. Some of the questions will try and trick you.

 

ORAL PRESENTATION TEST:

Choose a story topic and create a 2-3 min oral presentation story to perform in front of the class

 

GRAMMAR TEST:

Fun Grammar Units 22 – 25, Let’s Go Units 1 - 4

 

WRITTEN TEST: 

Review Communication book, Reader-Writer Book, homework writing books, quizzes and Unit tests for weeks 1-5.

Reader-Writer 4.1 Stories and Articles – Because of Winn Dixie, Lewis and Clark and Me, On the Banks of Plum Creek

 

Know and be able to recognize the main characters of the stories.

Be able to match vocabulary to its easy definition

Review types of sentences (declarative, imperative, interrogative, and exclamatory)

Review sequencing

Review complete subjects, and complete predicates

 

The students must know the content of the stories. Please re-read all the main stories.

 

I have asked the students to bring home their books so they can prepare for the exam.
